No Frills

6x6
oil in linen panel

Garden roses in an old soda bottle.  I remember my grandma clipping flowers from the yard and just plopping them into whatever was available.  She grew up during the Depression and appreciated everything she had and wasted nothing.  She even saved jelly jars and used them as glasses.  I still think of her every time I finish a jar of jelly.  This one's for you GG Stella.
