I picked up these delphinium at HEB of all places (a local grocery store)! I love HEB, but that is another story. The blues and purples just vibrate against each other. I got to pull out my phthalo blue for this painting. I absolutely love phthalo blue and all of it's power. The swirling buds reminded me of people dancing in the 60's, trance-like, with their hands in the air!
