oil on stretched canvas
One of my favorite paintings is "The Yellow Scale" by Frantisek Kupka. I am just mesmerized by the variety of yellows and the purple complements that he used in that painting. I could look at it all day. I was thinking of it when I painted "Bohemia". Kupka was from the eastern part of Bohemia before it became a part of the Czech Republic. There is some thick palette knife work on this one. It will need at least two weeks to dry. It is not framed.
